Part 1 of Chainsaw Man ended in December 2020 on the 97th chapter and the 11th Volume. If this ends up being the case, with a weekly release schedule (and occasionally biweekly), Chainsaw Man isn’t going to end until sometime in 2024. Assassination Classroom had 21 volumes, and while the two manga are very different, I’d expect a similar number out of Chainsaw Man. More than likely, though, we will see Chainsaw Man come to an end eventually. Chainsaw man has quickly turned into a classic, afterall, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see it get the Dragonball treatment. Then we have to wonder if Tatsuki Fujimoto will write a part 3, take the series in another direction, or just let it have a definitive ending. Part two of Chainsaw Man (anything after Volume 11 / Chapter 97) is going very strong at the moment and will likely carry us a couple more years. I won’t lie, we don’t have a true, definitive answer to this question and probably won’t for a couple of years. There is no confirmed end date for Chainsaw Man Part 2, however we can assume it will last about as long as Part 1. Chainsaw Man Part 1 ended in December 2020, and Part 2 started in 2022. The Chainsaw Man manga will likely end around 2024, after about 190 chapters or 22 Volumes of the physical manga.
